WELCOME TO MY WORLD

My career began at MTV Netwoks in London during the 90s. The creative environment and inclusive company culture shaped me in many ways. I’ve always been the “business person” or a “suit,” as they say in England, and I’ve always thrived most in creative environments. I grew up in an artistic family, and my father worked in advertising during the 80s. The connection between art and business was a common talking point around our kitchen table.

I start my day with meditation—it helps me feel focused and grounded! Then it’s time for a walk with my Welsh Springer Spaniel, Pixie. As I run my business from home, these walks are an essential part of my routine that I try not to skip. They give me a chance to reflect on priorities and plan what needs to be done.

I couldn’t live without Earl Grey tea! I drink at least five cups a day. There’s some English blood in the family, and I lived in London for many years, so that probably explains my excessive consumption—haha!

My best productivity hack is… Google Workspace! I run my entire business by collaborating with my clients on everything from documents and presentations to shared calendars and Google Meet. When I need to focus, I use the Pomodoro technique and turn off all notifications.

I manage stress by… breathing deeply and practicing yoga regularly. Since my burnout 10 years ago, I’ve gathered many tools to use when stress creeps in, but these are the ones I always return to. I’ve built my business in a way that allows me plenty of time for exercise, meditation, and family.
